    This is an excellent idea! I will do the following: adopt the software as a subroutine and test it on a crude robot. You then can use this routine in a more complex version. I will make the fighting distance variable so you can adopt from close distance to  contact to ram. Doing so I will add comments and try to make it more readable. Is this fine for you?

    Thanks for the interest. In fact I keep beeing fascinated by Rob3ns capabilities and used some of those concepts for the more recent GOAL3. Also the automatic target identification of PANZ3R-II is based on the same concepts.  I even had Rob3n rebuilt a few weeks ago to continue on the code since it has really a lot of potential, but was distracted by some more relevant challenges. It is in pieces again.
    To be very clear: the first thing you can teach with the present software is how NOT to program. It is messy and you see the blood, sweat and tears I went through during coding. The comments are my original, possibly now irrelevant, ones in German. I try to identify time and translate the notes and try to figure out the relevance of the individual variables. This could help. Perhaps more appropriate would be to rewrite it from scratch. I will take a look at it.

    The Gyro sensor is not used in the contol software for the ROV3R, which has no autonomous driving function. If you adopt and use the ROV3R+ software, you get some autonomy, that requires the Gyro sensor.
