Had so much fun building this beastly beauty! Amazing learning experience too, thanks to the very advanced building techniques.
I slightly modified my car to make the doors pneumatic and remotely openable:

Awesome mod! Which pneumatic cylinder did you use in the doors?
      • 2 months, 3 weeks ago astyanax Level 11 PRO
Cheers! Each door has one of 19476 Pneumatic Cylinder 1 x 11

Finally finished (minus the 2 sbrick and battery pack but even with the added 6 cylinder boxer engine, there's room down the sides behind the seats). As it's going to be a display model, I'm not bothering and may end up removing the motors that I pinched from a broken down model.
Many thanks to my brother-in-law for color matching the orange and airbrushing the #64681 and #64393 panels at his work. He did a great job and there's only a very slight noticeable difference in shade.
Come on Lego, it's about time you released some sets with them in.

looks so real especially when you "park" it in the outdoor!
  • 10 months ago tr0922 Level 7
Can U replace the PFs into 2 rc motors and a 9v battery pack with servo(Auxiliary output)?
    'Cause that's all I have(Set 8475).
  • 10 months, 3 weeks ago Kaydash Level 7
Is it possible to easily built it in manual?
  • 11 months, 3 weeks ago __I__ Level 12
This has been on my radar for ages and fingers crossed it'll be my next build once the Pagani Hyuara is done. I intend for it to be a non-motorised version coupled with a suitable gearbox.
Drip-feed of necessary parts already in progress...

I'm loving it! It's the best looking supercar I ever built.

    Hi all,

This MOC is brilliant. Thank you very much for @Madoca1977. Just having a question and need your help. Please have a look at here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=196444011212392&l=079f1ccb4c (it is the 2nd picture of the Building instructions, the one on the right of the fully completed car screen. Sorry, I can not insert the image in the post). The 02 Lego pieces in the blue circle (next to the re-chargeable battery box) is not presented in the Inventory and unfortunately, I do not know its code. Is there any one of you could help me capture the piece code and show where it can be bought?

    Many thanks.

I just finished the MOC with 2 IR receivers it works good but the speed is way to low . I am using standard technic battery boxes and high quality full batteries.
Sometimes the car drives well but after a couple seconds it nearly stands.
I tried everything and if the car doesn't stands at the floor the engine works well .
The weight can't be to high because madoca's car drives very fast and I used the same parts at without the receivers and the battery boxes.
I also tried it without body so it is much lighter and it also didn't work.
    Any ideas ?

How 2 IR can drive 4 L motors and 1 servo?
      • 1 year, 7 months ago BabaTen10 Level 4
I put two to l motor cables to the the blue input of the left IR and two l motor cables to the red input of the right IR.
The servo cable is also in the last left IR in the red input .
I connected the red and the blue steering stick of the two remote controllers and swap the directions of one

First of all: That model looks great! I am willing to invest some money in rebuilding it. Thanks for all the afford you put into it!

However you are using that 11949 Part for the steering mechanism. The problem with that is, that its not available under 30€ in Germany which is the price of 2 L-motors, per piece. My question would be, if it is possible to use the way cheaper 23801 together with two "axle with ball" pieces (2736) for the steering mechanism. So if anybody has ever tried that, or has the parts to try it, I would be glad to hear if that is an option! investing 120 € into 4 Parts is very expensive in my eyes.
I tried to check the size of the parts using LDD and stud.io but both softwares do not have both parts included in their database (or I am stupid).

Just completed this MOC. Awesome instructions! Demanding and well-thought-out.
I just don't like the front wheel housing - it's too wobbly in my judgement. I will try to find a solution that is comparable to the rear covering, which is great modeled.
And well, those doors... they look good. That's all

Just finished building the Icarus. Yet another really cool MOC from Madoca. Love the doors!

Currently building this, the curves and shapes you're able to achieve is mind-boggling!
Everything is braced and secured, its a super solid build.
I can see myself disassembling and then immediately reassembling it again just to experience the build process all over again.
I think it has earned a permanent spot on my shelves.
Currently on step 157/199, and I'm waiting on one last order (should arrive early next week), before I can continue on.
Cheers for sharing this with us.

I built this in red and it really is a phenomenal design. My first few bouts of firmware upgrades with SBrick were a bit frustrating to deal with, but things seem to be in a working state now and the car is fun to drive around. Thank you, Madoca1977, for publishing the instructions for such an amazing build for free. This car easily tops all of the official Technic sets I've built, save perhaps my sentimentality for 8480.

This is one of the most beautiful Mocs I've ever seen. I so wish I could afford to build it.
  • 2 years, 9 months ago The_Brickster_35 Level 12 MOC Designer
Calculated the price of all of Madoca's projects plus the necessary SBricks, and it came out to just under $16,000. Cheers Madoca, now I'm broke ;)

I so wish I had more technic parts to build this! This is totally amazing! You could make this a set and it would be a best seller for sure. Nice job
  • 2 years, 11 months ago Sickboy Level 3
I built this absolutely beautiful MOC. It is a gem! Can someone give me advise on where I should/could list this to sell, please?
  • 2 years, 11 months ago br0ken4life Level 10 PRO
I am speechless, I finaly finished this amazing super car! The lines, the intricate build, how solid the body is reinforced everything in this MOC screams perfection. Thank you so much Madoca for releasing this Moc for free, I can say its something I would have gladly paid for. Ive been trying to use an SBRICK Plus and added a Motion Sensor to stop it from crashing but haven't figured out the circuit yet. If anyone can help please let me know.

Again thank you so much Madoca, cant wait for the next MOC!

Really well done and very clear photo sequence! I enjoyed building it immensely.  Thanks for sharing.
  • 2 years, 11 months ago weeblesfall Level 4
Simply superb. I've just built this and I'm amazed at your ability to cram the mechanicals so effectively into such a tight space and also craft this beautifully intricate body design. Thank you for taking the time to design this and provide instructions for free.
  • 3 years, 1 month ago Scapuc Level 11
    Done! This moc is amazing.
The style is beautiful, as well as mechanics.
Thank you for sharing with us all the free instructions.
