    Thanks!

Had a great time building this MOC and playing with it! Thanks, Kevin Moo!

Regarding the inventory, I just used the  model 42082 (Rough Terrain Crane) as a basis, as it already has almost 90% of the necessary parts (if you are a bit flexible with the colors). I completed it with spare parts, I had lying around, used some string instead of the 14226c31 and only very few newly bought parts.

The instructions are really very well made. Actually I'm somewhat surprised that they are not being charged for, considering all the work that must have flown into model and instructions. But I guess, that's what the Lego community is about! The building techniques are a little bit tricky from time to time, but nothing infeasible.

The only thing I did not like so much about this build is the steering. I would have preferred a servo motor but maybe it's only because I did not have the correct remote control (64227). Or maybe there's another good reason for it.

Once built, the model is quite big, looks great and is really stable. If you can find the parts for this build, go for it!

The forklift will not be able to have that steering capability if the servo motor is used.  The wheel with the current design can be turned more than 90 degree.

I think it's a great creation. I don't know much about the real thing, but I really like the Fork part of the model, guess it has the same structure as the real one. I also appreciate the detailed instruction, it can't be better. Another cool thing is the designer himself is from China too. I gonna say, thinks a lot Moo, looking forward your new creation!

What are the basic differences between this and KevinMoo's Customized Forklift?
  • 1 year ago Shandyman Level 18
WoW! Packed with features, but tight turning circle is awesome! Well done!

One of the best MOC - all thumbs up!
While building i was wondering all the time why LEGO didn't release such cool sets?

Great work KevinMoo. Building this moc is a joy. Very, very clear instructions with sharp photo's nicely liking my eyeballs ;-). And every time I build you mocs I enjoy the nice details, the very compact design and the creative ideas inside. Thank you, thank you. I consider you as a real MOC master!

A few months ago I build it with LDD, now I build it with the real bricks and I'm still surprised of the neat and solid design. So many functions in a small place, it's amazing. One of the best!

Have built it myself. It looks good and really tight turning circle just like the real thing. The design and engineering of this MOC and the instructions are absolutely first class.
Thanks for sharing your creation @KevinMoo.

    Hello,very good work.
I built the model as Jungheinrich, in yellow. very much technic in the smallest space. I've installed a sbrick for control. so control is easier and smoother.

Does it work with IR-sensor V1, too or only with V2?
  • 2 years, 3 months ago jokey02 Level 14 MOC Designer
Very realistic model, works fine and nice to build. Instructions are impressing. Hardly to improve and free! Thanks a lot.

    Nice!
Maybe you could add a pivot to allow it to tilt on the side.
That way it could pick up objects by simply turning on itself once the target is in its circular boundary.

You made a great education, very detailed.
    Better than Lego .

I think this model is really Pafait , many details are present.

Thank you for sharing your work.

Have built it. It looks good and operates well. Really tight turning circle just like the real thing. The instructions are absolutely first class. The design and engineering are excellent. I have added a customised cover over the battery area and a yellow warning light on the roof - the only updates that I could imagine. I think a common trait for lego-built forklifts is that a driver would not be able see much at all. But this is mainly a constraint of lego not a fault in the design. Of course the real driver (me) can see everything perfectly well so there is no problem. I am having fun driving it around the house lifting things up and moving them around. Driving everyone else crazy!!
