Inspired by Builderdude35's "Spica" EV3 World Robot Olympiad (WRO) robot design ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=oviMHDgZyt4 ), I made this Lego Mindstorms EV3 robot for FIRST Lego League (FLL) use. The front Technic Tread belt has an EV3 Medium Motor which operates the jaws of the grabber/gripper claw. The frontmost EV3 Color Sensor can detect which objects to grab. The grabber can go up and over the top of the belt to release the object into the green bin. There are two EV3 Color Sensors on both sides of an EV3 Ultrasonic Sensor. Also see the optional Volvo Loader Bucket ( https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/21208692239/in/datetaken-public/ ) and the Forklift ( https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/20772900094/in/datetaken-public/ ) attachments that clip onto the belt. You will need eight EV3 Connector Cables (one in each port of the EV3 Brick).

"Fllying" = used in FIRST Lego League (FLL). "Lobster" has a grabbing claw. It operates like the "Spica" WRO robot referenced in the description; the YouTube video of the "Spica" shows how the Fllying Lobster works too.

What's a "flying lobster" in this case?
    What does it do?
Is there a youtube film or something to see it work?
