TL;DR: Best build ever imho! Please keep on delivering such gems of LEGO ;-)
Not much of a poster, but you deserve it!

This creation is truly one made by a genious engineer. I'm certainly not a pro regarding Technic LEGO building, but I realy enjoyed the applied techniques and methods: the way the boom extension is driven, the cabin tilting and dampening, the mechanics of the front stabs and how they are placed into the sides of the truck and so much more.
Also the modular way of building and ensembling it I enjoyed very much! It took me a couple of weeks of free evenings and I enjoyed every minute of it!

The end product is a beast, indeed!
When the first parts where finished, I was shocked by the format of those peaces alone and couldn't imagine how huge the whole thing would be. Reading the dimensions and watching the different video's/photo's don't have the same effect as seeing it in front of you, filling my entire diner table :-D
Moving the truck from furniture to the floor for playing is a tricky task seeing its weight, dimensions and balance point: If you lift it up and your finger handpalm is on a weak spot, the weight during lifting makes that weak part to pop out of place. Fixing such issues is also a tricky task, since the weight prefents it to lay it on its side/roof properly without doing more damage. I don't have much of critique to give you, but on this part I have a bit: I would have loved to see some advice or building method applied that would help me/us to move the thing aroung more safely.
All the power driven functions are working as presented, which is realy amazing and fun! Never had so much motors and SBricks applied to one build. To have (nearly) all the play functions powered is realy fun for the whole family.

During the build I did have one issue regarding the power functions: When adding the SBrick and connecting all the connectors (manual 1/9 page 13), my extension wire from the 3 PF front LED's just wouldn't reach the B-seat of the Sbrick. I initialy had the wire run behind the structure of the front stabs/turning plate module (manual 1/9 page 12), but that made it impossible to reach the B-seat. Had to run the extension wire in front of the vertical beams of the front stabs/turning plate module to make it work. Since there is no hinder on moving parts or esthetics this way, there are no worries, but I do wonder if/how other builders achieved this connection.

The pneumatic part are also realy ingenious, cool and fun! Haven't build any other sets with pneumatic system, so the building of this system was very fun and challenging too: connecting those hoses to its couplings in tight spaces realy had my head spinning on the approach of it :-D

My apologies for the long read, but thanks if you've read through it :-D

I take my respectfull hat off for you, sir!
Please keep on rocking that genius mind of yours and produce more of this addictive stuff!

Hello, I finally finished this beaty monster. Is really heavy, but works perfectly. I´ve made my own MOD and add third boom section. Now it can reach cca. 160 cm in height. I enjoyed building. Thanks a lot for this beast.

Wow It’s huge and massive! Great job 👍🏻👍🏻 Quick question, is the size of the ropes are stated correctly? 300cm is about 3x longer than the truck itself, please advise, thank you!

THAT. WAS. AN. AMAZING. JOURNEY!! Just finished the assembly of all 7 parts and the result is astonishing. I already built your crane truck and racing truck but this one is unbeatable! Very ingenious and often unique building techniques, waw! Only one little comment about the instructions: in book n° 1 I'm missing page 22 and 23 (but no harm since the same steps return for the opposite side on page 33 and 34).
    Thank you very much LucioSwitch!!
And one question: do you have any suggestion to carry this beast in a careful way? ;-)

Hallo Ivan !! I saw in the video that the 4 xl motors are placed otherwise than in the instructions ! Is this an upgrade ?
    • 5 months, 2 weeks ago Lucioswitch81 Level 10 Designed this MOC
Yep, the video shows the same version that I used on the crane truck. The new should be more efficient and allows the use of gears with friction for minimize damnage to axles and gears. It's possible to swap the two versions with some minor changes.
      • 5 months, 2 weeks ago Technic72fan Level 12 PRO
Thanks for your reply !! I prefer then the new version ! The use of the clutchgear is indeed better for the gears and axles and still is powerfull !! Greetings !!

Hallo Ivan !! Great moc !!I have a question about the s brick profile ! Can i download that profile or do i have to create one from scratch ? Thanks for your great work and keep on bricking !!
    • 5 months, 3 weeks ago Lucioswitch81 Level 10 Designed this MOC
You have to do it by yourself, I added a simple page in the instructions with some tips, but nothing more.
      • 5 months, 3 weeks ago Technic72fan Level 12 PRO
Ok no problem !! Will make a profile from scratch !! It is fun to do anyway !! Thanks for your reply !! Greetings !!

A little late in the day I suppose to expect a password if it is not automatically sent out, but obviously having purchased and downloaded the instructions it would be nice to be able to view them!  I haven't encountered password protected files with the other MOCs I have purchased.
