Flight of the Luck Dragon

This is a small kinetic sculpture of Falkor (or Fuchur), the luck dragon from the The Neverending Story.

A crank can be rotated on the end of the model to make the dragon move, with the body following a wave pattern. You can see it in action in the video along with a full explanation of how it works.

The stand also includes some imagery from the story, including the Ivory Tower and Southern Oracle. The black section on the end of the stand represents the Nothing, as it slowly envelopes the world.

The element and design IDs for each part, along with a cost analysis for Bricks and Pieces, Pick A Brick and Bricklink, are also included with the instructions.
