Nissan GT-R

Nissan used the eve of the New York auto show to launch the GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition. The high-performance model is celebrating its golden jubilee with a special edition that will come in three trims-GT-R Premium, GT-R Track Edition, and GT-R Nismo.

The special GT-R pays tribute to the model's rich heritage, which began in 1969 when the original "Hakosuka" Skyline GT-R debuted in Japan, with new interior details, unique paint colors, and special badging. It’ll do over 193mph, but more than that, use the ‘R-Start’ launch control, and you can get 0–62mph acceleration times below three seconds, run after run. That’s not a car, that’s a missile.

Nissan GT-R - custom door design by lachlan cameron, on Flickr

This Lego model was built with 4WD, stiff yet nimble suspension with torsion bar which allowed near zero clearance of the wheel arches, working steering and wheel controlled by the servo motor or manual HOG.

For the completely manual version just remove all motors and power functions.

There is also gearing options for 1 or 2 buwizz.

Custom V6 engine with working pistons, the hood opens from a lever in the glove compartment, the rear trunk opens, the doors have a lever (or by hand) to open each door behind the seats, and the doors can be locked at any angle once opened, the 4wd is driven by 2 XL motor and 1 or 2 Buwizz batteries, 8 lights total 4 front and 4 rear.

Hi. I wanted to inform you that your design has been stolen by Chinese manufacturers and is already on sale:
If you have a business plan with them, then all is well and please consider this message obsolete.

I really hope that the moc designer is paid for this. If not, shame on BlueBrixx for selling a stolen moc.

I have finished this amazing car. During the assembly process, I found some parts in the drawings are not perfect. Have you updated the parts list of this car recently? In the rear part of the particulate part of the car, I suggest that it is better to make both sides symmetrical. Is your sticker customized?

Have you considered the wide body refitting scheme of GTR? Similar to track version GTR.

I love the GT-R you built. I've been waiting for this forever for a Lego set and now I've found this page. Since I do not want to spend 700 € for the parts I wanted to ask if it is possible to build the model without the electrical functions to save a little money
    . By the way,
very good work with the model.
    • 5 months, 1 week ago Loxlego Level 13 Designed this MOC
Hi! This model can be built without any motors and the instructions show you how to do a manual version. No extra parts required. Just remove all motor components! Have fun!
      • 5 months, 1 week ago Thndrbld Level 3
Alright, thanks for your fast answer.
  • 5 months, 3 weeks ago minio7 Level 3
Inventory seems to contain quite a few gaps. I.e. there is red pin connector (62462) used at page 768 which is not even mentioned in inventory. Page 776 requires at least 8 (or 16) 59443 red parts, however inventory is mentioning only 2. I believe that I already used like 20 more 32526 parts in light bluish grey colour. I still have around 300 pages till the end and it is very annoying to be blocked by missing parts and having to reorder them several times to accomplish model. On the other hand so far it looks amazing, and it is pretty enjoyable and well designed, this recompenses frustration from incomplete inventory. I would definitely think about buying other instruction, but only if there would be positive feedbacks about inventory completion. Cheers!

Hi - thanks for your feedback. I’ll look into the inventory and update. My apologies.
      • 5 months, 3 weeks ago minio7 Level 3
I see that you've upgraded inventory a little bit. That's great. May I ask if there is and easy option to check what was changed? I would like to make new order for missing parts soon and it would be useful to verify if I have to order something more besides red 62462 & 59443. Thank you in advance!
        • 5 months, 3 weeks ago Loxlego Level 13 Designed this MOC
I've changed the L Beam PN 32526 from 22 to 32 pcs, added PN 62462 2pcs and Changed PN 59443 to qty 10.

where can i get a current directory from the parts inventory?this pictured here is very faulty.
there are no 4519 light bluish gray the parts inventory  and 3 x 32526 light bluish gray are given.
i am now on page 66 and have already 3 pieces additionally  used.furthermore, the 76537 in yellow used up to here is also missing.
I have built almost all your models and they are in showcases.
therefor i have to buy for each new model parts that i miss and then it is annoying if you realize during the build that many parts are missing also not in condition.
how can you help me with a correct parts inventory?
    thank you in advance
    • 8 months, 2 weeks ago Loxlego Level 13 Designed this MOC
Hello, I’m very sorry for the incorrect part count.Final part count:
ADDED TO PART LIST TODAY:   ***full QTY of grey Pn 4519 (3L axle) is 46 PCS. ***
The 32526 L beams in grey had been corrected with 22 pcs total. The yellow springs are in this list with total qty of 8 shocks. PN 62462 in white 2L connectors is QTY 10.

In the Part List the 62462 in white is missing, how many do I need?
    Thank you

Hi, it is 10x for PN 62462 in white

    what scale is this?
    • 10 months ago Loxlego Level 13 Designed this MOC
This is 1:8. If you see a scale model with the Porsche or Bugatti rims, you can make a safe guess that it’s a 1:8 scale car 😊

    Hi , great MOC.
Can I build it without power function? are there any problems when building without power features
    • 10 months ago Loxlego Level 13 Designed this MOC
Hi! This car was totally built to be manual, you have HOG steering and everything else works great without motors. Simply remove all power functions and you’re good to go. My friend Justin is building it in black and its looking wild 😜

The flexible black hoses are in 19l or 16l?
    • 10 months ago Loxlego Level 13 Designed this MOC
They’re 16l flexible hoses  - updated the list, the 19L changed to 16L for the black flex hoses.

Superb!!! Should we wait for computer images instructions?
    • 10 months, 1 week ago Loxlego Level 13 Designed this MOC
No computer instructions will be made. You’ll find these instructions very clear and easy to follow. Many prefer this to computer images.
      • 10 months, 1 week ago [email protected] Level 12
I actually prefer the instructions that are supplied with the sets these guys do over the standard Lego ones that are supplied with normal sets. Very clear photo's.
        • 10 months, 1 week ago KD123 Level 16 MOC Designer
Agreed. Much better than rendered instructions imo.

Depends on photos quality, sometimes its too dark and blury to understand what goes where.

Hi, congratulations for this model! Will the stickers be available on this car, as for the Mustang Hoonicorn V2?

    Whoah! Sick MOC.
  • 10 months, 1 week ago [email protected] Level 12
Awesome model again guys! Nice work on the door mechanism.
Is that actual driving speed in the video? Seems a bit sped up.
    • 10 months, 1 week ago Loxlego Level 13 Designed this MOC
Hi! Thanks a lot! The speed is real - it’s the fastest and most reliable drivetrain, I’ve never once skipped a gear. The speed is the fastest for XL motors - and the buwizz is the reason why! This is my favourite car to drive around :)
      • 8 months, 2 weeks ago [email protected] Level 12
As you might have noticed from the photo's I've added, I've completed my version as well.  I did notice that there are quite some leftover stickers from the ones you can order from @fwartstckr (awesome quality by the way, shipping was fast too!).  All tho you could argue that with the current sticker-layout the model has a great look already, but if hypothetically you would add more from the leftovers, what would you suggest placement wise?
        • 8 months, 2 weeks ago Loxlego Level 13 Designed this MOC
I would hold onto them in case you need to re-apply them later. Very cool photos btw 👌
          • 8 months, 1 week ago [email protected] Level 12
Will do. Is it normal that the chassis flexes abit in the middle? I find that if I hold it underneath the car near the front seats, the whole model seems to stretch and flex abit there. Not sure if that's intended.
