This specific model comes with building instructions available at mocplans.com plus the inventory list available at rebrickable.com.

    Hi
I’m very interested in purchasing the plans as the truck looks a great build. Can you tell me the dimensions and the height of the 5th wheel
    Many thanks

    Hi
I am interested in purchasing your plans, it looks an amazing truck and I would imagine a great building experience. Before I do I need the sizes to see if it’s suitable. I have looked but am unable to find them.
    Many thanks

Thanks for the kind words. It's a pleasure to know people like my work. Do you plan on building one? Or are you just looking around... :-)

I'm a grown-up just getting back into Legos for fun for a hobby to do over the winter. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to build but I like looking at the creations that people have made. I have a love of art so this is really very much like an art project all of these different designs and creations

Sweet! For me the story is about the same. At the age of 35 started building with LEGO again. That's about 11 years ago. From the start I knew I wouldn't do sets, just want to crate my own scale models. Actually I don't have any set, just nonen :-) I'm fond of trucks for all my life so now I'm able to combine these.

It is a great source of inspiration looking at what others did. Also could it be useful to build something designed by other builders using there building instructions. I'm not sure if you know but I create instructions for all my models. These I do sell to enable others building my models too. From my own experience I can say there is so much to learn about building with LEGO. So much has changed and so much possibilities has been added...really cool! Maybe there's something I created you like that much you even want to build it yourself. If that's the case please let me know and I'm more then pleased to help you. Consider it a jump start so don't have to figure it all out by yourself...just a thought... :-)

Thanks for your interest and very kind words...it is very much appreciated!

Chrome parts are very rare and expensive. Can I change them to another color (such as LBG) that matches with whole car?
    • 3 years ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
I realize they are, but still make it look so much cooler! :-) Yes would be the answer to your question, you can for sure use LBG (which is best I think) to replace all the chromed pieces...

Hi, I have just purchased the MOC plan for this set. However, I could only open the first few pages and steps 11 to 21 were missing. What's the problem? Any way to fix this?
    • 3 years, 4 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
Hi, sorry for late reply...have been bussy...

Does this still occur? Shouldn't be happening at all...

2legoornot2lego, I noticed another user had asked about trying to purchase a completed moc and you offered to sell a parts pack for the MOC. Is this something you'd be willing to do? If so what would that cost for this MOC-1332 - Truck T1 MkII? I do have all the necessary PF parts already.
    Thanks
    • 3 years, 10 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
Hi! In the past I did offer service only a few time to just a couple of people. The thing is that is makes it much more expensive for you as buyer. Basically I buy the parts where you can buy them as well and I do add because I do have to make a living as well... So I have decided to stop this service. Thanks for your interest!

Anyone have a already built one they would be willing to sell?
    • 4 years, 2 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
Hi, I am the designer of this model and I was just wondering: why do you not build it yourself? I can asure you it will be great fun to build it! :-) Just curious and maybe I can help you one way or the other...

        Thanks for the fast reply,
Building it would surely be fun but the main purpose for getting it would be to modify it and turn it into a tow truck. I like the design of your cab and think it would look great for a tow truck design but tracking down all the pieces would take forever.
        • 4 years, 2 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
You are welcome... :-) Okay, that makes sense! I am sure it is a great model to be "souped up" into a tow truck! What we could discuss is that I sell you a parts pack for this truck. Would that help?
          • 4 years, 2 months ago Sarge5 Level 4
That would be great, how much would it cost for all the parts?
            • 4 years, 2 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
I will let you know, but I do need to know something first:

Depending on where you live it is probably more efficient to buy the Power Functions directly from the LEGO online store... Could you check whether this is possible?
              • 4 years, 2 months ago Sarge5 Level 4
I could just buy them from bricklink or off eBay.
                • 4 years, 2 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
Okay, so not directly from LEGO? That would be most cost efficient...
                  • 4 years, 2 months ago Sarge5 Level 4
Ok it it's more efficient I'll buy them from Lego, what would the price for the parts be without the power functions?

Hello all, can anyone help, I purchased the instructions for this model plus a trailer several months ago...now I have all the parts together, I am unable to access the mocplans site to my plans,. all I get from Google is it is unsafe to open this site due to MALWARE problems, and they advise no entry.....it has been like this for a couple of weeks now, and I am getting a little frustrated....any ideas....or would it be possable to access my plans any other way....
    • 4 years, 4 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
I completely understand it is getting a little frustrating. What you describe is happening right now and it should not be this way, but please give us a little more time. It is only temporary!

This is what the owner of wrote:

We are working on fixing this issue.  Something happened on Friday and its not yet been resolved.  It looked like it was an issue with the hosting company but it now appears as though there was a direct attack at the site.  The site has been scrubbed once already and we are waiting for another scan by the hosting company to see what else needs to be done.

Very sorry about the delay in getting access to the files.

As an update...The site is currently free of any issues but has to be reviewed by google before they release the flags that show up for everyone.

Hopefully that will be resolved soon but I don't know exactly how long it will take.

In the description for another one of your MOCs, the Trailer Tr1 MkII type T1 Reefer Trailer, you mentioned that you designed out the, "Black Technic Steering Arm Small (BrickLink ID 6571)." Would it be possible to do the same for this MOC? I can't get over the price of that part, $5-$6 each!
    • 4 years, 5 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
I understand completely what you mean. Since I released instructions for my MOCs this 6571 part vanished like snow. Many people bought them and now they are hard to get...

It is not possible yet to rule them out...sorry... Maybe in the future this is possible...

On the other hand we have to be honest: building these MOCs is expensive anyway, so please invest in these parts. Bite the bullet so to speak and I am sure you will not be disappointed at all building this MOC!!! :-)

Incredible! I cannot imagine the amount of design hours that went into this. A work of art!
    • 4 years, 6 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
WOW, thanks! :-) You did not notice this before... ;-) Well I know all about it, I run into creations that exist for a couple of years that I never noticed before...

You are right about the design hour, that has been many, but I never kept track of those. Always loose track when I am building and engineering, because I have so much fun doing so...

      Thanks for the kind words!

This is probably the best truck I have ever built. It looks some great in the red color. This one is a keeper!!

Well, thanks!!! That is very nice of you to write this! Thanks for your interest and support, be warned, there are more "keepers" to come... :-)

I'm a proud owner of this MOC now.
I got so in love with it that I'm now gathering parts for a second version of it in different colors!

I can only recommend you guys out there to build it too! You won't be disapointed!
    • 5 years, 5 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
Nice to see that you are so happy with it and that encourage others to build it as well. As you already know there are many more models to come!!! :-)
  • 5 years, 11 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
Thanks to the owner of this amazing site the inventory quantities error is solved. Thanks admin for solving this!!!

Please all, hold investing in the parts for this model. I did a little mess up and because of this the inventory quantities are doubled. Please give me and the owner of this site time to fix this...thanks...and I apologize for any inconvenience!!! Ingmar Spijkhoven AKA 2LegoOrNot2Lego...the designer of this MOC...

Another beauty! Wonder what it would look like in orange or dark blue.
    • 5 years, 11 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
Thank you for this comment. Orange and Dark Blue will not happen, well at least not for a lot of builders it is... :-)
  • 5 years, 11 months ago user_2205 Level 3
I noticed that some of the quantities are 'doubled', especially in the PF section of items needed. ie. 2 x XL motors, 2 x Remote Train Controllers, 2 x Engine fans! ( Just saying! )
    • 5 years, 11 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
Thanks, I'll look in to it right away, that is unwanted!
    • 5 years, 11 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
Yeah, you are so right, I am getting this fixed ASAP. Somewhere I did mess up apparently, I am not happy with this. Thanks for pointing this out, I didn't notice, thanks, thanks and much more thanks to you!!!

Issue solved, so thanks again buddy!!! :-)

When you make alternate colors, would a person need to purchase BI again or will a supplement parts list from here show those color changes?
    • 5 years, 11 months ago Ingmar Spijkhoven Level 20 Designed this MOC DESIGNER
Good question, that is for sure! The parts list here at Rebrickable.com is free, so I guess the answer to your question is yes. You just pick the color that suites you best and the parts list is shown in the correct color. On the other hand the BI them selves do not change. So if you buy for example the Red version as it is right now, the BI are with the Red parts. With a little fantasy it might not be that hard to figure out what parts to use in the alternate color...right? Is this what you ment with your question?
      • 5 years, 11 months ago user_2205 Level 3
Well, yes. I guess I will have to be more familiar with the BI in the original color to figure out if I would change to an alternate color scheme. ( Your buddy Stephen )
