Liebherr L580 wheel loader

This is a scale model of a Liebherr L580 wheel loader. The model has approximately 1600 parts and features remotely controlled drive, steering, lifting, and dumping. The drive system uses a Power Function XL motor through a differential mounted to a pendular rear axle. The articulated steering is driven by a Power Functions M motor using a rack and pinion system. The bucket lifting and dumping uses 3 large linear actuators driven by an XL and M motor, respectively. The model is powered by a Power Functions rechargeable battery. The model is highly accurate featuring a fully detailed cabin with control panels and computers, and an exterior complete with all hand rails and lights.
